You inspired me to play chess as a boy. As a kid reading about you made me believe that I could be something great to even though I wasn’t grown up.

He inspired me too. It’s a shame where his life went after defeating Spasky. I’m not sure any of us will really know what was going on in his mind.
I’ll always prefer to remember the young Bobby Fischer as perhaps the world’s greatest chess player and try not to think about the rest.
Yeah thats what I do as well. Its obvious he was a brick short of a full load later in life.
