If no one comes to read my blog because every day is a new subject - well, I'm more then willing to take that chance. At the end of the day, while the commerce of blogging is clear to me - it truly is a labour of love. I know there are times a topic feels like I'm supposed to cover it and other times it's perhaps a bit of laziness in not having to think up an idea for a post. But you're right that I've stopped reading 'content is king' or 'get more links' kind of posts. I do think it's ok to revive these kind of posts from time to time though since you can't assume what your reader has read. I might have seen the advice for the umpteenth time, but someone new to seo probably hasn't. The questions are still asked daily in forums after all. Still your post a point well taken. But you’re right that I’ve stopped reading ‘content is king’ or ‘get more links’ kind of posts.
