- Bob Massa wrote a post about social engineering to get the results you want. It was pretty damn funny in a way only Massa seems to be able to do. If you don’t know who he is already you need to subscribe to his blog. Bob’s forgotten more about internet marketing than I’ve known.
- At a more introductory level Steven Bradley produced an overview of branding. If you’ve ever wondered what the heck branding has to do with you this is a good introduction.
- There is a kerfluffle between Microsoft and the Free Software Foundation that will have deep implications in the open source world if it goes to trial. Savio Rodrigue took a look at it and points out several reasons why its not likely to go far. In his opinion going to trail is a sort of nuclear option because the stakes are too high to risk losing. I don’t know if I agree with him, Microsoft has been pretty litigious in the past.
- Copy Blogger has a Zen meditation concerning the impact you make in the world with your blog. (As if I need to point to it, who doesn’t read Copy Blogger already)
- Aaron posted new goodies for internet marketers to use. This time they are Google gadgets that ease keyword research, backlink analysis, and traffic estimates.
