- Mark Wielgus is pointing out why its important to try out all your monetization options on your site. He’s been on fire lately read through his last 30 or so posts to see what I mean.
- The former owner of SES, Alan Meckler, has a rant about Wikipedia. This guy gets the web more deeply than anyone I know.
- Copyblogger’s latest addition to its landing page make over clinic revealed a lot in how to think when designing landing pages.
- Aaron has a great post about blending ads to much and how it can hurt you. It developed off research by usability expert Jakod Neilson about banner blindness.
- Affiliate Classroom released their August edition with some solid tips about marketing your site in the offline world.
- Graywolf pointed out a problem that Webmaster Central has with 301 redirects. I recently started having the same issue as well. Aaron Wall has a good comment in there too.
- Mark… again.. posted a gem about hobbyist webmaster syndrome before I finished this. lol.. ( yes I really lolled )
- Lastly you need to check out my friend Phil Wong he’s an amazing artist. He mostly does digital art but his photography is awesome too.. ( in the digital photography age is there a difference ?). He’s got a rocking web design portfolio to but you need to request it from him if your interested.
