I got tired of checking bid prices on keyword phrases I found via Keyword Curious and so I built a tool to automate the process.
The result was Bid Stats, a program that collects bid price information from the Overture bid tool and compiles useful statistics on each phrase checked. The program will allow you to check up to 15 phrases and tell you the following about the bid prices for each: average bid, minimum bid, maximium bid, median bid, standard deviation, and the number of bids present. The grid format should make it easy to scan the list and note which keywords are worth your time developing content for or bidding on.
