The Wall Street Journal ran an article about splogs today. It didn’t contain much new if your a Search Engine Marketer but damn did it have a lot of stupid and funny quotes.
Presenting stupid things people say about Splogs:
“It’s the biggest problem on the Net right now after identity theft…” Mr. Cuban said …
Are you kidding me ? Have you not heard of kiddie porn, fraud, and drive by downloads ? Splogs are the biggest problem for you, not everyone on the Internet.
Jason Goldman, product manager for Blogger, acknowledged on Blogger’s official corporate blog Monday that the company had been targeted by what he called a “spamalanche.”
Just funny, I am trying to imagine a PHd wielding Google employee saying the word “spamalanche.”
BlogBurner’s founder, Rick Butts, denies that his software is used by spammers. [....snip...] “I’m not going to pretend to say we’re altruistically creating blogs for humans to read,”
He said “Not used by spammers” then ” not for humans to read” WTF ?
